Thoughts on the Bancharo

My main goal is to keep the head removable for packing. However, I would assume a good quality epoxy squirted into the gaps of the head/handle junction would set the head for pretty much ever. Maybe stuff similar to what they use to keep modern hammer heads on their fiberglass handles?
 
Good idea, Steely. I did some serious chopping on some trees at dad's that needed to be taught a lesson, and the head rotated some. What epoxy do you recommend?
 
Man, I dunno:D:foot::eek: I am but a lowly pool boy.

I might hit up Lowes this weekend sometime and see what they have in terms of glue/epoxy.
 
If you want to keep it packable why not take an oversized handle,sand down one end for the ax head,thread it then make a screw-on cap to keep it in place?
