Thoughts on this design?

Very nice design. Looks a lot like a Burger EXK had a child with a Strider SNG. As mentioned, the blade is a bit long but once you take care of that, should work out pretty well. I'm unsure of the placement of the hole though, and the size. I'm thinking it might be hard to access and use. But probably you can make the knife essentially in cardboard and see how things line up, or learn how to use CAD as mentioned (I'm sure there's like tutorials and such on youtube).

Good luck with it all man

I like it, groove for finger in the front looks good for choking up.

However consider making a frame lock instead of a lockback. Actually I like the Tri-ad lock but need permission to duplicate it. A framelock is stronger and sweeter than a lockback and will not suffer from up down play in time like lockbacks.

Good luck, nice blade shape and thick thumb stud stop pin.

Looks like a Burger to me. I like it a lot, especially the lockback a la Spyderco. I think I prefer a bit more spear in my spear point, though, if you get my drift. But I can say that you wouldn't need much more than you've drawn. Make is S30V, 154CM, or VG10 and you'll have a really great knife!

I went with the hole because I didn't want a thumbstud getting in the way of the blade when cutting. I think I'll try making a CAD, and if it turns out to be too complicated I'll just use cardboard. Thanks :).

I thought about a frame lock, but since this is going to be an EDC, and since I designed it it should be perfect for me, so being my perfect EDC I probably won't want to replace it in the future. This means it's going to be used a lot, and I don't want a frame lock wearing out in the future, same with a liner lock. Thanks for the suggestion though, and I'm open to more lock suggestions.

I have a knife in 154CM, and I'm not particularly impressed with its edge holding, especially in cardboard. I'd like to try S30V, but for this knife I'd prefer something that holds an edge even longer.
