Since you have bought it, how about you giving us your opinions?

Ours don't do you much good at this point.

Are you able to return it? Because I have to tell you truthfully, it is a piece of junk. MR.TheKing01, I wish you the best in your future travels on the small planet we call earth, but please for the Love of God do not ever post again asking if some made in Chinas Big5 piece of crap was a good investment. It darkens a small part of my soul to see posts like this...Still, as the warrior that I am, I have learned to carry on even in the face of others really poor decisions and lack of understanding the culture of owning fine blades.

Yes, and for the testing part, I was attacked by a fierce Baboon on the plains of Africa and I was carrying that exact knife. Luckily my guide shot the Baboon and threw out my knife. I never would have survived with out the guide...

What would this forum be without a warrior like yourself!!!

I highly doubt that the baboon story is true but thanks for your opinion

LOL.

Just to add a bit of value to this thread, Schrade knives are no longer the same quality that they used to be. The NY factory closes down in Ellenville shortly after 9/11 and China has been making lesser quality knives under that name. A few members here seem to like their fixed blades. We've all made some poor knife choices before. Don't get too upset over it. Next time, do some solid research on the knife before you buy it.

If you're looking for a budget folding knife, Emerson Kershaw collaboration knives are very nice for the price. I bought one as a gift for my nephew and was so impressed, I bought a few more.

Stay on topic or be gone. If you cannot help further the discussion in a productive manner, best not to post.

It's not gonna last you a life time, but it wil do for simple edc tasks if you like to sharpen a lot.
I'ts non of my business, but how old are you if i may ask, you strike me as a younger person for some reason...

The design looks similar to one or more Masters of Defense knives, which are better quality but more expensive, People on this forum are mostly focused on higher-quality knives. Use your new knife for a while and only then will you know whether it's worth it to you to go up a level or two.

How about an Opinel? $12, and it will outlive you, if you treat it right.
