Thoughts or improvements that you would like to see for the Military

pillar construction, bigger screws, CPM-M4 & M390 in Ti handles, that's pretty much how I like my Militaries. The DLC & CF frankenmillie is pretty cool as well, and I upgraded the screws in that one too.

Nice.
I was thinking the same thing with my Ti Millie and was looking around on Knife Kits. Where did you get the hardware?

I currently own three; Orange S30, TI S-30 and Brown CTS. If the parts are interchangeable enough for it to work I may make my ultimate Mili with TI RIL, Orange scale, CTS blade. That would leave me with a couple of "bride of FrankenMilis" to mess with. Hmmm.

If the Millie used larger screws, had a larger lanyard tube, and was compatible with tip up carry, I'd buy a couple right off the bat.

once the m2 is out the only improvement i see to the milie would be going back to the first design, thinner g10 slabs and one steel liner for the lock, that's all. the simplest and lightest knife ever, nothing more than whats strictly necessary.

and yes cpm154 is a good idea.

just a concept: an armored military. full stainless liners, thicker g-10 scale, a thicker blade, a pivot and stop pin strong enough to allow one to cut a 1/4 inch copper cable, and a saber grind for greater strength. blade design could be changed into a curving reverse tanto or something like a giant jester blade.

s30v or cpm 154.

Slightly better blade-to-handle ratio if possible, but if a compression lock is placed in, then I doubt that would happen. Also, it might well be a bit of a safety feature, to keep the blade deeply covered on all sides by the scales?

Steel is fine for me, nothing wrong with s30v. Larger lanyard hole, possibly pillar only construction (no backspacer) - kind of optional for me.

At least a two-way clip would be great too, tip-down, left and right.

I can live with the lock, but I definitely say a larger lanyard hole, carbide glass-breaker would be rad, pillar construction, oh, and maybe a waved version for some tacticool variety :p

Oh, and 4-way clip.
