we used to have a friend from pismo beach up north of me when I lived in l.a., she'd come down south and if it was over 80 she was dying, I didn't have a/c at our house and she liked to have a heat stroke, face all flush and what not... how can you people live in this heat... ??

sometimes in riverside, ca it reached 115.... its a desert after all you know........

yeah I'd probably be the same way. Eff all that heat and junk. It's suppose to hit 80 in Seattle this weekend. I'll be in the woods though so we'll see what happens there. I'm just glad it's not a billion degrees here like it is everywhere else. ;)

Midwest getting a little heat I see...well welcome to the party.
107° here today and It's monsoon season.We lost power today so no AC for a while,
had to jump in the old jeep and haul ass around town to cool off.

buy a generator to keep your a/c and freezer running?

around here, people buy gennies to keep their houses warm during week+ long power failures in the Winter... and ironically to keep their food cold.

best solution at least for the freezer: run out and buy some dry ice, and that'll keep the fridge cold for a long time. careful not to FREEZE things that aren't frozen.

96 here now according to computer weather service and 101 heat index; however, my porch thermo, under shade of porch, but porch is in sun says 102+ and 33% humidity (dropped from 80+ from last nite)... it's hot out there no matter what the electronics say; my car will probably report 115+ if i ask it.

People only think its getting hotter every year because we are all getting fatter. Except Flexxx. Its hard to get fat when your food passes through you so easily because of your sheathing habits.
