Threatened withdrawal of marital pleasures...

I must really have infi fever...

Two weeks ago I had no infi in my life. Then, an FBM arrived. Next, I ordered a BATAC.

Now, I've just grabbed this:

(I was looking for a small edc knife but, oh well...)

Problem is, my wife has threatened not to allow me any more bedroom pleasures if I buy any more knives this *year*!!! I think she means it.

I wouldn't mind, but she did encourage me when she said that the FBM (tan/snakeskin) matched perfectly with our suite in the living room.

The real question is: do I ignore the threats and buy more infi, risking the possible consequences? Help!!!

Rick.

Absolutely, you must show her who wears the pants in the family. And hopefully it will be the new knives you are about to acquire!:D

It's too late:eek: , there's no help for it. Do not go searching for the edc models (Assault Shaker, Skeleton Key, Skeleton Warden, Etc.). Really do not do a search on Natural Outlaws(just say no to NOs!). Run...NOW!

Or keep jumping in feet first:thumbup:

Subterfuge.....secret PO Box.....and CC...a friend......start buying knives that look like the ones you have already.

1. Buy so many that new ones are indistinguishable. I have pulled this off successfully with Glocks (I stopped at 11), folders, fixed blades and SAKs.

2. For me, receiving from USPS is sneakier and easier because there is no pesky UPS man knocking on the door and blowing my cover. What Gravel said is right on. Ship to a friend's house or the workplace if possible.

cheers

Propose an equitible infi allowance and counter it with a shoe/wardrobe/nick-nack/furniture allowance. I'm sure that there is something that she is spending money on that she would not like to have taken away.

Yeah, I like that one; open and honest. In combination with the subterfuge...

foxyrick,
THIS is your only choice! You must go into secret stealth ops mode to acquire your knives..

Trust me pal.. there is NOTHING "equitable or fair" about Marriage!

You need to counter with refusal to use deodorant or bathe combined with a diet rich in beans and chili.

It's a matter of determination, don't give up.

Keep the relationship healthy Rick, but don't forget to post pics once you get the knife:D

He he, I do that already, this very night in fact. Thing is, Dawn loves chili as much as I do, so no gain there.

I certainly will my friend, both relationship and pics, that is. Thanks again for the knife.

You have a bunch of nigh-indestructible knives; they're even Cliff resistant; which feature a lifetime warranty (and the Busses are entering their second generation). Why not set aside a few bucks here and there each week into a jar or savings account of pain and treat yourself like royalty in May 2008? Why May? To ensure 12 months have passed so you don't have a lot of INFI and way too much pent up energy.
