I have one of Marco's forged integral chef's knives and it is a fantastic blade. A pleasure to use. Mine is picking up a beautiful patina.

What should I expect from the finish on these under regular use?
It's great to read this! I'm happy to know that it is being used very well! This Electrostatic Paint finish is very resistant to wear, the only part of the blade that is exposed is the cutting edge, I am sending a photo that demonstrates this.

Hi Marco,

Your attention to detail and design sense shown in both the knives and sheaths is remarkable. Two questions, please:
What do these knives weigh?
How far does the tang extend into the handle? I might have missed it, but could not see a bolt or fastener in the butt of the micarta handled knife.
Thanks.

Hello Geode, thank you for appreciating my work! I personally really like the details! Answering the questions in order, Cheff with Maple weighs 232 grams, Celeron 239 grams, Imbuia 195 grams.

They all have a 10cm spike length as shown in the photo and they are fixed with epoxy glue that dries for 24 hours.
