Dang you ndog, that photo got me... email sent to Yangdu for the Kumar Karda if still for take.

So what is the best rust removal product to get the job done without damaging the blade?

If it's just surface rust or tarnish, Flitz works very well, and it doesn't spoil the polish in areas near the rust. Just be careful rubbing around the point.

I dont have a YCS Karda But I bet they are much the same. Some have carved handles and look fantastic. Mines hanging in what kitchen i do have so I guess its best being smooth handled! But! If I do see a carved handle YSC yall will have to fight me for it

Once I run into some money my first REAL Khukuri might just have to be one of these blems, the deals just seem too good to pass up.

the blems are indeed too good to pass up, as auntie often says in the threads her loss is your gain, remember you are buying them at cost essentially on the blems, so any extra money donated over that is really helpful.

I think half my collection is blems , I bought the rest from the store so i could pay full price.

the blems functionally are no different than the unblemmed
