Steel is A2 from Alpha Knife Supply
Heat treatment is by Peters' for a hardness of 61 RC

Sheaths are made of 7-8 oz vegetable tanned leather. the edges are treated with Roll Call edge dressing followed by Sno-Seal. The insides are treated with Sno Seal as far in as I can reach my finger in there. The other parts are protected by Saddle Lac spray lacquer.

Handles are glued together with West Systems marine-grade epoxy (G-Flex).

My process is hand-eye guided; no CNC or jigs. Sharpening is free-handed

Top Knife - Skinner - SOLD
The blemish on this one is not visible in the pictures: it is discoloration from heat treatment, on the left-side ricasso.
Blade 3 11/16"
Overall Length 7 5/8"
Blade Thickness .095" in the ricasso.
Handle is Zebrawood with a rubbed tung oil finish and micarta pins


Middle Knife SPF - Cowboy - SOLD:

Overall Length7 3/16"
Blade Thickness .100" in the recasso.
Handle is Richlite with micarta pins and thong tube

Bottom Knife -Bird and Trout - SOLD:
Blade 3 3/4"
Overall Length 8"
Blade Thickness .094"
Handle is stabilized spalted beechwood which has been sanded to 1500 grit and then buffed.

Skinner is SOLD. Cowboy knife is SPF. Asking $75 for the Bird and Trout. PayPal is preferred.

I am not familiar with cashapp. I do PayPal. [edit: I can do either money order or check, and then as soon as I have either cash in hand or the check clears into my account, I can ship. I guess I need to look into other payment apps besides PayPal. My wife uses PayPal but also Venmo and Zell]

I've got one of his knives in a stainless steel. Been to the woods but does most of its work in the kitchen. Very handy size and a good-looking knife.
