PERSONAL EDITORIAL -

THIS IS NOT A KIT KNIFE

I'm certain that any reasonable person (who has been watching the forums lately) can figure out why I am adding this to my posting. As custom knifemakers, we each have our own style, we design our own models, and we make multiple copies of them - but I guarantee that none of the blades custom knifemakers repeatedly make are actually identical in every way (because custom knifemakers are not using a laser cutters and custom knifemakers hand grind their own blades). We are proud makers of handmade knives - not mid-tech or productions pieces and definitely not kit knives that we simply slap handles on so we can sell them at a huge profit.

Just something to think about from a maker who (like others on BF) works hard to earn business. I'll edit this out if the moderators or any true maker or makers are offended in any way. That is certainly not my intention. However, I'd be sincerely interested in hearing from other true makers who may share my opinion that when you post a handmade knife, it should be "handmade".

...and I'm not done yet!!!! Stand by, more to come .....;)

I'm selling off some pieces I was saving for the Denver show to pay for my new shop. The show isn't until August so like the Doritos commercial says, "we'll make more".

I am not a maker but that is a beautiful knife and an editorial long in coming, great job on both!
