This is my classic drop point hunter in A2 blade flat ground with heat treat by Paul Bos. A2 is a high carbon (1.00 %) tool steel with a small amount of chrome (5.2%) for corrosion resistance. Thickness is 3/32 overall length is 8" and at widest point about 1.5".
The blade is flat ground and finished w/fine scotchbrite. The edge is ground to about 0.015 and convex with a cutting angle of about 12 degrees to make it a real slicer.

All three have colored fiber spacers (see pic 3), your choice Quilted Sapele (figure really does not show well in pics), Black Linen Micarta, or Ivory Linen Micarta. All attached with stainless Colby Bolts
