For your consideration are three of my El Toro models. The El Toro is a medium size hunter, 7 7/8" overall length with a 3 1/2" blade that is 1 3/16 tall at the heel. Not too big not to be a great EDC too. Steel is AEB-L and the knives are ground from 1/8" stock. They are ground very thin and are excellent slicers. Heat treat is done by Peter's and each blade has been tested at 61 RC. Loveless bolts are used to secure the handles. Each knife comes with one of my unique sheaths that are perfect for very active use. They are made from 8-10 oz Wickett and Craig leather. PayPal is great and we can process credit cards over the phone. First "I'll take it" gets it. Thank you for looking and comments and questions are welcome.

First is the Turkish Walnut El Toro. This knife comes with my Slot and Loop sheath. Designed primarily to be worn on the right hip, butt forward this sheath will work 360 degrees on your belt.

This knife comes with a nickel silver bolster, red spacers and Exhibition grade Turkish Walnut, (sourced from famed double rifle maker Butch Searcy, this is some of his stock cutoffs). I cut the walnut scales to be book matched and the pics show how well they matched up.

In the last pic you can see that the spacer slipped a small bit during glue up. This has been filled with black tinted epoxy and is a slight cosmetic flaw only.

Sold.

Next is the Elk handled El Toro. It too comes with a Slot and Loop sheath.

This El Toro is handled in Elk and it has a spacer from yellow Mammoth Tooth and a nickel silver bolster.

All pithy areas of the handle have been sealed.

Price: $225.00

And finally the Mesquite handle El Toro. This knife comes with a Slotted sheath that is worn under the belt and is designed to be worn 360 degrees on your belt.

This knife sells for: $205.00

Here are a couple of pics showing how these sheaths can be carried. First the Slot and Loop:

Then the Slotted. Remember that both sheaths can be carried in many positions. The retention on my sheaths are excellent. They can be shaken upside down vigorously without losing the knife.

I can attest to the leatherwork. I have one of Dave's slot-and-loop holsters (a flap holster for my Ruger SP-101) and it's a beauty. I suspect you can ride any gait you want and not lose these blades. I've gone hell-bent-for-leather across my fields and not had to worry about my revolver, that's for sure.

Beautiful knives, by the way, Dave!

Thank-you Zieg. Glad your liking your holster! Got two to do right now for those SP 101s
