Hi, these are my first knives that I think are done well enough to post on here. I make these when I feel like it on my time off. I grind them without jigs (wanna get good doing it by hand) so they're not perfect. I also experiment with different blade and handle shapes to see what's comfortable and to test the way they slice. Also living in the North West, every carbon steel knife I've had rusted on me pretty quick, so I do mostly stainless steels. Every knife is stropped to a very keen edge.
Anyway, the price includes USPS priority shipping to the continuous U.S.
I take Paypal.
I can also etch my makers mark upon request.
Knife 1
This one is a flat saber grind. I hand sanded it to 100 grit to give it a more "rough" look. Mini pry bar/skull crusher as pommel.
Steel: 440C heat treated to 58 or 59 HRC by Texas Knifemaker's Supply.
Thickness: 1/8"
Handle material: Purple G10 with neon green G10 liners, dremeled it for cool texture. 1/4" stainless steel tube and 3/16" nickel silver pins.
Weight: 6.3 oz
Price: $140
Here You can see a bit of a hole peaking out of the g10. It is just the very edge, no liquid will get in or out.
Knife 2
Scandi Grind with slight convex. This one I figured would be a knife to whittle at camp with and crack open a cold one every now and then. The handle is the most comfortable I've shaped to date, and will do alot more of it and some variations.
Steel: 440C heat treated to 58 or 59 HRC by Texas Knifemaker's Supply.
Thickness: 1/8"
Handle material: Blue and Black G10 with purple G10 liners. 1/4" brass lanyard tube and 3/16" brass pins.
Weight: 6 oz

Knife 3
Convex Grind. This is the sharpest knife I have made, eats wood for breakfast.
Steel: 154CM heat treated to 58 or 59 HRC by Texas Knifemaker's Supply.
Thickness: 1/8"
Handle material: Spice Dymondwood. 1/4" stainless steel tubes.
Weight: 5.4 oz

Thanks for looking.
