Bob Kasper said in an interview posted online that he had nothing to do with Crawford's neck knife. The only neck knife he designed was the "Gaunt"

Why is it called the "Kasper" neck knife?

I guess cause it has the same blade design as his Kasper Fighting Folder that Pat Crawford says Bob Kasper helped him design. I guess you would really have to ask Pat Crawford. His email is on his web site www.crawfordknives.com Let me know what you find out.
