Damasko DS30
Photo album -
I’m the second owner of this outstanding, tough German tool watch, the Damasko DS30, which I bought in January fron a trusted seller on r/Watchexchange. The original owner had the watch serviced by Damasko in August 2019 (see photo album for WatchMann “passport ID” linking to service). At this time, the original owner had a very nice mod done by the Damasko factory….the hands were changed from the standard all white of the DS30 to the style resembling the Sinn 556i with matte black near the center post, and then white. I think it’s a subtle, but great change up on the already appealing minimalist look of the DS30.

Specs Summary:
  • German submarine steel case
  • Diameter: 39mm / lug-to-lug: 46.5mm / thickness: 9.9mm / lug width: 20mm
  • Movement - ETA 2824-2 / automatic with 38 hours power reserve
  • Screw-down crown / 200m water resistance
  • Magnetic resistance up to 4,800 A/m
The submarine steel of the Damasko case makes this pretty much impervious to dings and scratches, and I sure don’t see any on this watch. The outer AR coating has a few microscuffs that are only evident when light hits a certain way. Accuracy is very good on this watch....I'm seeing about +6 seconds per day.

Includes very nice Damasko leather strap, which has been worn but is in good shape, and I can also add a Erika’s Original MN gray fabric strap with white center stripe (~$95 retail) that complement this watch perfectly.

Asking $850 – including Damasko box and OEM strap + extra Erika’s Original Strap / $800 - without extra Erika’s Original Strap

I bought this classic field watch from the Windup Shop (authorized dealer = valid manufacturer warranty) two months ago. With light wear in these past two months the condition looks absolutely like new to me. I can’t see any flaws or wear marks on case or crystal. Accuracy is great on this watch as well....I'm seeing about -2 to +3 seconds per day.

In addition to the excellent Hamilton green fabric NATO strap with leather accents, I can also include a ColoReb A14 “rust”-colored single-pass strap made with nice, supple and relatively thin leather ($76 retail).

Specs Summary:
  • Diameter: 38mm / lug-to-lug: 47mm / thickness: 9.75mm / lug width: 20mm
  • Movement: Hamilton H-50 (modified ETA 2801-2) – manual wind with 80 hours power reserve
  • Push-pull crown / 50m water resistance

Asking $395 – full kit (inner/outer box, OEM strap, tags, manual, warranty card) + extra ColoReb leather strap / $345 – without extra ColoReb leather strap

Seiko Samurai, Ref. SRPB55

This black & gold beauty is less than month old, bought from my great watchmaker in the St. Louis metro area, who is also a Seiko authorized dealer. The great thing about buying from my watchmaker is that this particular watch is completely free from two infamous Seiko issues: 1) There is no misalignment of bezel, chaper ring, indices…everything is perfect!!, and 2) No wondering if you hit or missed with the Seiko lottery on accuracy….my watchmaker Steve tuned this up with a tight regulation before I walked out the door with it. I’m seeing about +4 sec/day.

Everything is absolutely like new on this watch. To top things off, I can also add a fantastic, brand-new Crafter Blue rubber strap with fitted ends and cerakote black buckle ($69 retail), made just for the Seiko Samurai. The Seiko OEM strap is OK, but the Crafter Blue rubber strap brings this watch to a whole ‘nother level.

Specs Summary:
  • Diameter: 44mm / lug-to-lug: 48mm / thickness: 13mm / lug width: 22mm
  • Movement: Seiko Caliber 4R35 – automatic with 41 hours power reserve
  • Screw-down crown / 200m water resistance
Asking $425 – full kit (box, OEM strap, tags, manual, warranty card) + extra new Crafter Blue rubber strap / $365 – without extra Crafter Blue rubber strap

Payment by PayPal G&S. Shipping by USPS Priority or UPS to CONUS only.

Thanks, but I'm not looking for trades at this time.
