Three knives for EDC

If you go with the Native--great choice--see if you can find a carbon fiber version. Very classy knife.

Something that confuses me about a formal wear knife is this: Some of the posts recommend keeping the knife fully concealed in the pocket. This is what I often do with a suit. In that case, why does the knife need to look fancy? If deep-pocket carried and used discreetly, nobody is going to see it but you! I carry a Delica or mini Ritter Grip in my suit and they both work just fine.

It seems analogous to wearing diamond studded undershorts. Who is going to know?

How bout an Al Mar Hawk. It comes with a leather slip case. I have mine in cocobolo wood. Street price around $120

That is my formal wear option of choice in black micarta. Very acute angles in general that don't always feel "natural in thand", but I've really grown to appreciate this little guy by softening the edges a bit. Enough blade to be useful, without being tiny. Works well at the office for me in general, but I don't often keep it in the leather slip case. I am kind of conditioned to not put change and/or keys in the same pocket. The blade shape is really nice for the office and light home duty, and while opinions of the steel differ, I can strop it and shave hair easily. YMMV on the overall package, but it is an aesthetically pleasing knife for a non OHO. It has a lock, but that is not a big issue for me either as if it was a slipjoint, I would be equally happy.
