The small one has a dyed leather inlay of sorts,it is for a small sized paring knife ,like about 5 to 6 inch oal quill type knife ,very slim.
One is for a slim blade bird & trout with 3 to 3-3/8" blade is my guess.
One is for a wider knife,perhaps with a guard too,possibly 3 to 3.5" blade max length.
