Three More Knight Combats

How does that in-the-waistband rig work? Can you run after or away from something while wearing the sheath and knife?

Yes. Probably one of the most secure ways to carry. You have the tension of the belt as well as the interior retention in the sheath. You are in great shape unless you pants happen to fall down, in which case you are screwed on several levels.;)

Brownshoe

Always remember sash carry has been the predominate carry form of almost every warrior class from the Samurai to you name it

In days of old when big blades were the norm this is how men carried them

Look back at the old civil war pics of soldiers

All carried sash style

I have packed Bowies this way from technical mountain work to horseback and a free floating sash sheath is the way to do it

Joe,
Can you elaborate on this carry method(with pics if possible)..........we(I) need edumacation! Feel free to start a new thread on the topic if you do not want to clutter this one up.
Thanks,
Darcy:)

I will put something together but the video above gives a very good demonstration

I just watched the video.......usually I don't unless they are really short because of my archaic internet connection. I like the static line addition......good tips.
Thanks much,
Darcy:)

A good knife. Thanks for the video. Unfortunately I cannot buy this knife, Russian customs does not miss.

Joe, big thanks to you for being such a influence on this forum.

Got the knife, it fits its Long sheath perfectly and what a wicked blade!
Thanks again to all for making this happen.
