New from Chuck Gedraitis we have three of his beautifully made, fully functional, art knives. Writing this I am both compelled and hesitant to call these art knives. Compelled because they are so finely made, with an eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, that it would be hard not to call them art. Hesitant because they are built as tools from quality materials and made to be used. Weather you choose to admire them for their beauty or put them to hard use is up to you.
First on the list is the Accentor Frame Lock Flipper featuring a chemically darkened full titanium frame lock and pocket clip giving it a subtle oil slick color hue. The blade is 1095 with a gorgeous, rippling hamon line.
Next we have a Tanto Accentor Flipper. Kicking this design up a notch or two this knife is dressed in Zirconium and Norris Stainless Damascus steel. My personal favorite of the three, this knife has a solid detent that makes the blade fly out. The green micarta feels great in the hand and and it is held secure in the pocket with a custom Zirconium clip.
Last but not least we have a Medium Puffin Flipper with Blue Carbon Fiber. An amazing edc size knife with a gentleman's knife look. Featuring a satin S30V stainless steel blade, this flipper fires from solid titanium liners housed in blue carbon fiber scales. This is a great looking little pocket bowie that is as hard working as it is easy to maintain.
