  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

I've been working on these in between other projects for the last couple of months or so. Although all three are tantos with similar handles, they are all pointed in different directions.

The top and middle two are forged from 5160, and the bottom one is forged from 1084. All three have neoprene foundations under the wrap, followed by black and coyote tan paracord, and hardened with West System marine epoxy. All three have coyote tan Kydex sheaths. All three shave hair nicely. :)

The Westernized tanto has a blade length of 7 3/8" and an overall length of 12 3/4". It's a stout blade with spine that starts at 1/4" and tapers distally to the tip.

The double edged kwaiken has a blade length of 6 3/8" and an overall length of 11 1/4". Veeeeery pointy tip and fully sharpened top edge would work well in pikal techniques.

This drop-point tanto has a blade length of 5 7/8" and an overall length of 11". Light and quick in the hand.

Will be posted in the For Sale section. :)
