puukkos with tool steel blades (finnish made in 80CrV2 steel, tempered to about 59-60Hrc) and stacked leather handles.
blades are 100mm long, 3.2mm thick and 20mm wide (standard sized puukko blades).
handles are 110mm long with 7mm thick, massive brass (hammered finish, patinated) bolsters.
handles are impregnated with natural beeswax.
sheaths in massive, 4mm thick vegetable tanned leather - knives click into place.
sheaths are impregnated with natural beeswax.
fit and finish on knives and sheaths is flawless, hands down.
3. helle necker:
light knife with norvegian made helle blade in stainless sandvik (12c27) steel.
blade is 90mm long, 3mm thick and 25mm wide (tempered to about 59Hrc).
110mm long handle in boxwood with massive 12mm thick brass bolster, patinated.
sheath in massive 4mm thick vegetable tanned leather, natural beeswax impregnated, offers solid retention.
Crisp fit and finish.
