Three Sisters Forge Beast vs. Sebenza

For me, they really can't be compared. The best is MUCH larger overall though the blade length is similar. They are both very well built, and Jim is a really nice guy. However, the beast was not for me and I sold it. I had the spear point blade, I tend to favor that shape. The sharp edges and overall thickness gave me reason not to carry it. If you are looking for a hard user, then the beast works. However, if you want refined and great fit and finish in a easier to carry ( and more sheeple friendly) package then go Sebenza. The insingo Sebenza is a great cutter.

I honestly didn't notice the beast being that much bigger, nor it not being sheeple friendly, three inch blade and all.

I have large and small Insingos; the Three Sisters Forge Tactical; the Grayman Dua; and the Jeremy Robertston 3.25-inch Calavera El Patron. All highly recommended Ti models.

The TSF, Grayman and El Patron are full customs; the Insingos are sometimes referred to as semi-custom or mid-techs.

The Grayman Ti-Ti Dua is the cheapest of these and a relative bargain. F&f is about equal to the TSF.

The El Patron is the most expensive of this group.

The Insingos and the El Patron offer the highest level of f&f, IMO.

The small Insingo is arguably the most friendly looking. The insingos also may be the best slicers.

For hard-use, I'd pick between the El Patron, Grayman and TSF.

Another possible hard-use choice is the Protech TR-3 Integrity. It's a very-well made Ti production model and the company's only manual folder.

Good luck and have fun choosing -- you really can't go wrong with any of these.

I would go for a Grayman Dua! They are much beefier than the "Beast" and are cheaper! I ve put them through the ringer and back again and Graymans are virtually indestructible.

The Dua is certainly beefy. And, for added measure, it makes the nicest "thwack!" sound when opened.
