Three Sisters Forge

I carry a custom CCT everyday, IMO it's one of the finest knives for the money. Jim is one helluva knifemaker whose attention to detail and customer service is second to none. His knives are well worth the $ spent...

An indication of TSF value. There is a knife vendor at a flea market in Pennsylvania that I frequent. After talking "knives" for a while, he will often ask if you are interested in selling any knives you have with you that he finds "interesting". (meaning anything he can buy from you at a ridiculously low price and easily sell at a good profit) His usual offers are about 1/3 to 1/2 of what a quality knife would sell for here on BladeForums. About 9 months ago, while looking at some of his knives, he examined the Credit Card Tac that I was carrying and made me a spontaneous offer to buy it. I told him that I really liked the knife and wasn't interested in parting with it. The original CCT knives did not have a makers mark and were totally sterile. He asked who had made it. Before I could answer he began guessing, naming several makers one after another with a few "big" names mixed in with many I had not yet heard. I told him the maker was a man named Jim Allen of Three Sisters Forge. "Never heard of him" was his reply. I purchased a bench stone and was leaving when he repeated his offer to buy the little knife. It was hard not to smile. He offered me more money for this used knife than I had paid to buy it new, including the shipping charges. It made my day. OldDude1

That's a pretty neat story.

I ended up picking a sebeza 21 and an SnG. However I still intent to pick up a TSF folder sometime in the future.

EDIT: just realized I missed posts by the maker! S35VN you say! This knife has moved up in the next few I intend to purchase.

What is the "TF"? Are you referring to the tactical folder called the TSF on the Three Sisters site? How do you know it's s35v, I don't see that listed anywhere.

Thanks!
