I finally got my Gold membership, so here goes. I'm not sure if this should be in here or in the "Gear and Gadgets", but here it is... :)

Three leather sheaths for a Spyderco Military.

Horizontal belt carry black with a rattlesnake stamp SOLD! :D
This one was made from very soft and shiny leather, but has a small nick near the loop. Only a cosmetic flaw, and a price drop.

The shipping varies depending on the method you choose, but cheapest 6-12 day shipping to USA and Europe is US$5. PayPal, MO all okay.

Those are sweet! Unfortunately I do not own a Military. However, went to your site and am eyeing the sheaths for the Chinook. Great work there.

Off topic but Vadim your new website looks great and your work looks like its getting better and better (if thats possible).

I might have to get some more vertical Gunting sheaths off you.

Sorry for the hijack...just wanted to give a thumbs up for your work :)

Razzierb > Email sent. The sheath is on hold for you. :D

BOK, Parfive > Thank You! I'm trying a bunch of new stuff too now, nothing to show off yet, but it is promising. Mostly nicer pocket sheaths (stingray skin with lining and snap closures), overlays of different leather (frog, lamb, etc). So some exotic stuff will be coming up in near future... :)

I don't have a Military, and don't usually care for carrying a folder in a sheath, but I've come back to this post three times, just to look at the pics.
Beautiful work. Makes me want to order a Military, just for an excuse to get that remaining horizontal sheath.

You've got me sitting here with a Paramilitary stuck through a belt loop, thinking hmmm...:D

Thank You! And I *do* have some Paramilitary sheath too, I think even horizontal ones... ;)

And Military really is great. I have two, both older 440V versions. The serrated one came to me second-hand (at least), and since then I dutifully did my best to destroy it. It arrived a complete mess, all the screws except the pivot had to be replaced, and the clip had to be made into a three-hole instead of two-hole. And after that it cut three housefulls of carpeting, about 400+ cardboard boxes (hitting those huge metal staples in them too sometimes), wood, rope, meat, tin cans (broken can opener on a camping trip) and countless envelopes. It's been sharpened and re-sharpened more times than I can count. And it is till in perfect working condition! Grrr! It absolutely will NOT give me an excuse to buy one of those black-bladed S30V newer beauties! :)

I think I'll keep if for a while longer, the $40 is really as low as I'll go on these, they sell pretty steady at $45-55 in my EBay store. For $30 it really wouldn't be worth the trouble of making these. If it was a "factory second" or had any flaws then yeah sure I'd knock it down to maybe even lower just to sell it to make up for the leather and dye costs, but this one is pretty good quality.

But hey, thanks for the offer anyways... :)

phatieman should recieve some good sjambokking for trying to lure Vess into a cheap trick. I don't think Vess is so desperate that he should sell his holster for a fools wage, looking at the quality of the sheath. This is not Bargain Basement inhere ! :p

So I did a search on sjambokking, since I didn't know what it was. Those things look very neat...I seem to find a lot of new things over here on a daily basis. Wish I knew about this one sooner, my banker really needed a good sjambokking a few months back... :D

But hey, it was a good try. He made an offer, I passed hoping for better, no hard feelings... :)

nice work Vess! show us your paramilitary sheaths... :D

I think he should've made that offer offline....

Paramilitary? Gasp!! I just noticed I only have vertical ones left for the Paramilitary, and I'm always trying to have at least vertical and horizontal ones ready to go. Sigh, I guess I know what I'll be making in my spare time today... :) Maybe I'll even come up with something new, so far they look exactly like Military sheaths, just scaled down.

Do you happen to have any gunting seconds??? I'm looking for a right hand vertical carry.

I have a boatload (okay, only six) finished ones in my EBay store. You can find the link to the store in the "Available" section on my webpage (and the link to my webpage is in my signature line). They are not seconds, but if you like any one of them let me know and I'll let it go at $45 with airmail shipping included (most of them are $45 without shipping now). There's even an experiemental in-waist-band vertical Gunting sheath there too, I'll also knock that one down to just $45 shipped.

Sooo, if any one of them work just drop me an email and I'll pull it off the store list... :)
