the orange ukpk, the brg zdp 189 d4, and the tenacious.

the delica is my third and, as usual, it's perfect. the world's greatest jack of all trades. gentleman, woodsman, hunter, operator...who can't appreciate this thing?

the tenacious is larger than i expected. i had a bad experience with a g-10 cara cara and have steered clear of the byrd line since, but this thing's very well finished with an awesome blade. lotta knife for $32.

finally, the reason i made the order, the orange uk pen knife. beautiful, sharp, comfortable...but the action is gritty. it was the only knife of the three that didn't come in a plastic bag inside the box. maybe a return? maybe it just needs use to break it in. can anyone offer some experience? sal?

this is everything i got today.

What problems did you have with the cara cara? Please share your experience so we may avoid making mistakes or damage it. :)

it's been detailed in a past thread. the knife i got looked like it had been someone's user for 20 years. obviously wasn't a factory issue, it was definitely the seller.

My orange UKPK did not have a plastic bag either. Bought new from Knife
Works. Mine is never gritty feeling during the "action" of opening or closing.

I said that I wouldn't use my UKPK, I can't help but keep it with me lately.

I love it.

Yes, please share your experience with the Cara Cara. Inquiring minds want to know. :)

The Tenacious is pretty darn good, huh?

Not to diss Emerson Knives because I own couple of them. But my Tenacious came out of the box sharper than my Emerson Commander. Which is pretty amazing considering it is only $30 bucks.

Haven't got a chance to do some heavy duty cutting with it though, but I heard from people that said the 8CR13MOV steel gets a better edge than the VG-10 after sharpen.

John Petrucci is the best of G3. John Petrucci all in all rocks like hell.

Oh, by the way, nice knives!

Nice collection Mag! I really like the UKPK.

(Mag owes me a LOT of money. I bought my 1st Spydie on his recommendation at another forum, and before I knew it I had 10 of 'em - 2 Manix and a Lil' T included!)

hmm...same place i got it. i've been working the action a lot, seems to have smoothed out nicely. i almost never pay full price for folders. these three are exceptions and i'm gonna make it worth my dollar. i may never use the extra delica but the ukpk and tenacious are lookin at full time careers.
