HSB Junior Cattle Knife, pawnshop pickup in Fort Worth around 2016 or 2017, $20 OTD. Great snap, F&F, and an easily applied wicked sharp edge. OH

Great knife. I’m a big fan of HSB, I have 1 at this point and it is worn out big time.

My favorite thrifty knife.... The Klein rope knife (top 3) accompanied by it's manufacturers version of the same knife, the Ulster Kutmaster Workmate (I think it's the workmate).

A French Laguiole pattern that I bought in Denia, Spain and that was made in China. Despite the confusing origins, it's a most pleasant knife to use.

This one snuck into my accumulation. Years ago Marbles offered some traditionals made by a US company, top quality and high priced. Shortly after that I saw this and other patterns on a legit Marbles dealer's table priced very low. I grabbed a few different patterns, not realizing they had gone off shore to source them. I gifted the others but kept this large toothpick to remind me to look before I leap!
