Thanks. Got a Venandi on order. Maybe one I can actually open and use .
Given up on RRs. Pull weight about 50, IF you can even get to the nail nick.

One of my fav thrifty knives is the CRKT Cuatro; nice flipper, smooth elegant lines.
(Sorry not a traditional, delete if necessary.)

I collect vintage SAKs (use a Tinker for 30 years), Vintage Puukko and other Nordic knives.
No need to pull them open . Unfortunately can't carry concealed fixed blades in this state.;)

Thanks for the generous GAW, John; those look like a couple of interesting sodbuster variations from AG Russell that are often (always?) out of stock these days! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Got my CRKT Venandi yesterday. Pull weight OK, ca. 5.5-6. Nice looking knife; thin blade makes for good slicer.
Spend part of day cleaning off the coating on blade - I like bright blades. Don't see the point of coating on a stainless steel
blade. I "suspect"just a way to cut costs by avoiding additional polishing. Venandi nice knife. Will add to my rotation (as secondary to my Tinker).
