Recently I've been drawing up what I call throwback ads. Little ads that celebrate the days gone by when times were simpler and more interesting, at least in my opinion. These projects aren't meant to be taken to seriously and taken as a group I hope people will see what I'm trying to accomplish.
It all started with the mountain lion ad featuring the Green River. That's where all the over the top nonsense got it's start.
Here's the next two in the series.

The first is an ad featuring the Kill Captain. I loved comic books as a kid and specifically the old Captain America comics. Since I don't own the rights to use Captain America I made my own character based on him a few years ago. He's a little bit edgier, more of a soldier than a super hero but a some of both.

The next one is based on the fantastic culture of the carnivals that traveled by rail back in the day.

Hope you enjoy them as much as I did drawing them.
God bless,

Thanks, guys!
I've got some more in the works I just have to find time to draw them.

Iz, the Kill Captain has my vote as well, & I can not believe someone has not ask about these becoming decals or patches yet . . . . :)
Only 4 posts though, still early.
Your talent is very well expressed by the way, excellent drawings.
Be safe.

I am digging the carnival themed one. On the kill captain, where it says
"HARD KNIVES FOR HARD MEN!" I think it might look better without the "!".
It would give it a cleaner look.

I second that you need to make these into patches or stickers.

Thanks, guys! I appreciate it very much.
Shirts and prints are going up as we speak, stickers to follow.
