Hey, I was wondering if throwing the Rogers Rangers Spike tomahawk "spike-first" would fracture or put to much stress on the head. I read that throwimg the LaGana Vietnam tomahawk spike first puts too much pressure of the head, and I was wondering if if was also true for the RR Spike or if the shorter length is better.

I don't know why you would want to throw it spike first, but if you find your spot where you stick it normally with the cutting edge first, all you have to do is back up approx 3 feet and it will over rotate and stick the spike. It should not break. I have not broken one yet.

I'm just the kind of person that likes to experiment stuff..."Hey Yall! Watch this!"... After mastering the regular, one-rotation blade-first throw you want to try a new way.

Also, cant you stick it spike-first by going to your regular distance and turning the blade upside down?

Does anyone else have any unconventional 'hawk throwing methods?
