Throwing down the EDC gauntlet

I'm so white collar it extends to my entire shirt.

My friend Mike is also white collar all the way down to the tails.

We tend to eschew our knives from lunch duties based on duties already performed. You did notice the raw meat products there by the toe of Mike's boot?
Nice try, Horsewright Horsewright ... but I'm not buying these carefully staged photos of using a knife in the "real world".:D

I prefer the organic peanut butter. It is
healthier and the thick oily gloop on top helps protect the knife from corrosion.
Speaking of nuts....can't you pickle them or fry em up ?....I don't like to think of it but it seems like a bit of a waste.

You joke, but that's actually a thing. I know local vineyards hire goatherds to use their animals for weed control.

And my neighbor actually rents out bee hives to polinate their crops.
Growing up in NW Oklahoma there used to be more wheat round these parts then there is today and the feed lots would lease the wheat for winter grazing. Worked out good for both parties. Cattle got to eat and farmers made a little money and got their land fertilized.

The herd is easy! It's the Cowboys/girls you gotta watch!:D

Ya know watching those cowgirls is a tough job but somebody has to do it. We all have our crosses we must bear...…

They can do the knife work too.

In the above two pics, notice the fresh coat of red finger nail polish I had the stylist apply to our model for this photo shoot.

Ya know how these westerns always end. The hero gets the girl and they ride off into the sunset. Well this is about as far west as ya can ride, on this continent anyhow.

I so don't want to see women castrating. Makes me nervous! :p

So certainly from a philosophical standpoint I understand your concern. But...there's also the roping and choking thing:

And the body piercing/earring thing:

And cowgirls ironing....well that just takes on a whole new meaning:

Some ranches ear mark too because its hard to read a brand in the winter time or at a distance. This involves carving a registered (with the state) pattern into the ear:

We're an equal opportunity ranch. Them cowgirls are just easier to look at than a bunch of crusty ole cowboys:

I don't understand how you guys look so clean always being down in the dust that way!
I can't seem to stay clean just around my homestead.

I ride tall horses....keeps me out of the dust clouds. Also I don't do too much groundwork. I'm old and creaky. Me getting back up after doing the groundwork on a calf provides so much comic relief that I can hardly get my crew back to work.

:D I can relate to that, Dave! :D
