I had a trip to my "house desert" today and thought I'd share some pics. Hope you enjoy.

Sometimes I miss the Middle East............sometimes. Had I been there on friendly terms, it really has some beautiful scenery!!!! Awesome pictures, what model Nissan is that with a solid front axle?

I hear you. I stay here as a business man and count myself lucky to be able to carefully pick the places I want to explore. Of cause my impressions differ severely from someone who is or was sent here on duty.
It's a Nissan Patrol Super Safari, 2009, 4.8 liter VTC engine, solid front and rear axle - and some modifications.

Looks like Tucson :)

Weird question I know but I have to ask. You ever eat any camel? Just wondering as they just seemed to look tasty as hunting season is getting started here everything is starting tolook tasty. Those are some great pics.

Not a weird question at all. Camel is part of a normal diet here. You get it in restaurants and supermarkets. Baby camel (is it "calf"?) is very tender and lean and has a great taste! The older the camel the more rancid and tough the meat gets. Now I'm getting hungry...

That was the one thing I was trying to eat over there.......but was never able to locate any. Another weird thing, saw lots of camel toes, but not many camels:eek::D

Statistically you should see four camel toes per camel. In real life it seems far less :grumpy:

I expect North Texas will look like your desert home pretty soon. Sweet ride (and blade), by the way.

Very cool pictures! The Camel makes me want to have a smoke though:D Break time!
