Hello all.I recently purchased a Buck Taclite.I really like the style,blade shape,size,etc.The only thing I dislike are the type of thumb studs on this model.They have a very rough checker pattern that I find will wear a hole in my pocket every time(even after a little sanding).My question is this: can these be removed without too much difficulty?And if so,where can I get replacements that are not so rough?Thank you for any suggestions or comments.

Hello,
Sorry to hear that you don't like the thumbstud. We make it rough so your finger will not slip off when you are opening the knife. We have gone to a dew design, more of a cone shape, that might be easier on the pocket. Send me an email and i will tell you about it.
