I recently traded Ivan Campos a couple HI khukuris for a Kiridashi and two Machadinhos.
I am very impressed by how helpful he was, how prompt he was in emailing, and how fast shipment was from Brazil. He made a bit of a discount due to sheaths not being included, and was even nice enough to recommend a sheath maker to go to to get sheaths made for these little beauties.
The knives are wonderful: the Machadinhos are very sharp and even though they are only a little chunk of steel, they're easy to grip and I can see them being very useful. The Kiridashi is a great blade as well. The handle is nice and thick and has Cunduru wood, I believe, with a cord wrapping. Wonderful job. Just a bit of epoxy on the Kiridashi blade that was easily taken off with a wire wheel. These knives can be seen as extremely useful sharpened prybars. They seem very tough and durable.
Now, to get some pants for 'em.
Thanks, Ivan, for a wonderful first transaction through BF.
