 Having been self-diagnosed with CRS these past few years, the name of the young lady at Spyderco with whom I spoke a couple of weeks ago escapes me. So... I thought I'd post my "Thank you" here, since Sal and crew pass by this way fairly regularly.
Now and then, I d/a my Delicas to give them a bath. In the process of doing this the last time I messed up a couple of the torx screw heads. I also needed to replace one of the washers that I had dropped or lost or eaten or something.
I e-mailed Spyderco about replacement parts at my cost, since I was d/a and r/a the knife myself. A young lady from Spyderco contacted me by phone within a couple of days, determined which model Spyderco I had, and said that she would take care of shipping out the needed parts at no charge.
As good as her word, the package arrived a few days ago with everything I needed and then some. The D4 in question had just come back from OK where it was visiting STR's "Knife Spa" for a Ti spacer upgrade.
I'm happy to report that everything is back in place with both washers and brand new shiny torx screws (and that awesome titanium back spacer).
"Thank you" to Sal, Spyderco, and the mystery lady.
