I just got a great deal on the Gerber Hinderer Rescue, and had a great experience with Botac. Their service was extremely fast, and they shipped very quickly. Purchased it on friday, it shipped friday evening and got here today, exactly as described. I'd definately do business with them again.

Botach is a hit or miss deally. I have had both good and bad experiences with them.
 
I got lucky with them for years. The last experience was a deal breaker though.
 
I agree, maybe I'm lucky :confused: but have ordered from them five times and so far and everything has been perfect!:thumbup:

Glad to see you had a good experience. It is nice to see that they are capable of getting it right. It would be nice if it happened much more often.
 
ya know i did a couple deals with botach before i heard WTF & they went well, i did call on both orders to check availability & order though, anyway after hearing all the bad i too would be wary of any more dealings, its a crap shoot with them imho.
 
I'd rather be beaten with a stick then ever order anything from Botach again. I mean what with late orders that turn out to not be what was ordered and then 50 spam emails from them a day until you change your email address what's not to love?:mad:
 
I asked them to confirm availability of stock as I didn't want to wait for backorder and since I sent a banker's check any refunds will be a total money waste from bank fees. Even after making damn sure they then tell me (after cashing my check) that it was not available. They asked me to replace the items based on value but I didn't want to spend on stuff I don't need.

Weeks of slow service (e-mail) they finally send me a check which arrived two months later! Almost 3 months of total regret...

(and the fees I paid to the bank became a total waste of money/time)

Even a blind (and dishonest) squirrel finds a nut now and then. This particular company has a long, dirty record of lousy service, including outright lies.
