Thursday's Eye Candy #1

Dave a very special knife and story. The work on the knife is absolutely awesome. You will have a prize you will enjoy forever. Great story also. Stay well.

Wow! What a beautiful knife! When I was a kid we had a barn owl that would sometimes hang out in our old barn.

Dave,

What a fantasic tribute to your late wife, that knife is a true work of art.

DM & LM,

Wow is all I can say....so what would you charge to turn a clasic Buck into a work of art?

Thanks to everyone for your comments. I couldn't wait to share this with everyone. I particularly want to thank Leesa again for the beautiful job.

In case you don't remember what it looked like, here's a picture of the two that I bought. The one on the bottom is the one that this thread is about.

Tomorrow I'll show off the other one. It started as one of these but has a different theme than the 110.

Very, very, nicely done artwork!! Plumberdv that is a nice addition to the collection.
I hope we get to see more scrimshaw from Leesa.

That is outstanding!
Your wife is very talented, David Martin. The work is impressive.
Can you post more raptor pictures, please?[/QUOTE]

I know that she had tons of pictures somewhere Dave, but those were pre-digital days. I have box after box full of snapshots that she took that I have yet to go through. When I locate some more, I'll show them. The Golden eagle that was here for about a week or so was really impressive.

VERY cool, and some incredible pictures of the hatchlings.

I picked up one of the bone 500's also and wasn't sure if the bone would be good for scrim. This answered that question.

Thanks,
Peter
