I have had some Ti bar stock in the shop for a few years so last week I made a knife out of it.

Elf choil & all ;)

What do you think ?

Oh & I anodized it Root beer Brown.

nice blade david, i really like the shape of the blade and the sharpened swedge is great and its titanium, hey man what is the dimensions?

I will have to measure stuff & get back to you.
It will hold an edge pretty well.
You can cut for a long time but it is hard to sharpen.
Ti work hardens so it is kind of tough to work with.
You can not heat treat it I believe ?
 
Looks good Dave...Slap some handle slabs on that puppy and call her finished!
 
What do you mean work harden? The more you use it, the harder it gets? Is that because the material compacts? Looks cool!
 
Neat looking design, are you going to make a thrower out of it. Where's the handle slabs? :cool:
 
Nice knife, and I appreciate you showing it off, however, the Busse forum is not the proper place for this thread. Moving to Custom/handmade knives forum.
