Y'all helped me name it, (Thanks again JoeJeweler!) Now it's time to play the pimp. I think Joe hit the name out of the park, as it hooks things and looks like a 'hooker boot...'

I'm billing this is as 'the smallest keyring bottle and can opener in the world.' At least until someone shows me something smaller that opens both bottles AND cans. ;)

These are pretty self explanatory. Instead of relying on a handle for leverage, these use the keyring itself. Simply hook onto a bottle top and pull up on the ring. The 'heel' prys up can pull tabs or performs almost any other task a fingernail might be employed for. My wife pointed out that hers saves her manicured nails almost daily...

In this day and age of the term 'Handmade' bling applied with a fairly liberal paintbrush, I consider these to be truly what I see as handmade. Each one is individually manually milled from solid stock. Then each one has the hole drilled, profile cleaned up with a file, edges chamfered, and given a run on the belt grinder. I occasionally leave the machining marks if requested to do so and think it looks great on the Ti version after heat coloring. I can also brush, stonewash, or polish these if so desired.

I had originally planned to do these in batches, but since I want to offer several options I will think a running sales thread is the best option. Before all of that, let's have a peek at these things.

Here are some pics of the just completed and shipped Hookers. Well, at least a few of them... All heat colored Ti (6al-4v)

And here is the whole line-up of materials available at the moment. The shiny ones are magnesium, titanium is heat colored and an ultra-thin option and copper on the far right. The longer version in magnesium is for sacrificial use as fire fodder if so needed...

Here is a size comparison with a US Quarter.

And if you're into super lightweight stuff, the magnesium model tips the scales at under 2 grams!

I had some people ask, and the Titanium ones weigh about 4.5 grams, and the copper weigh about 7 grams...

I will start taking orders and list them in this thread as the order progresses. So, contact me with your preference of materials and finish and I will send you an invoice. Once paid and finish preference stated, will ship within 3 business days. (My local USPS office is open Sat 10-12 so count Sat too.)

I will add other materials in the price list as I introduce them.

Prices:
Titanium (6al-4v): $25
Titanium (CP Gr2): $28
Copper: $20
Magnesium: $18

Prices includes any finishing preference, a large stainless split ring and shipping in the continental US via regular first class mail packaged in a bubble mailer and small ziploc baggies for each item. For tracking or more expensive levels of shipping contact me. Will be charged at actual cost.

I also have 31mm Ti split rings available however sometimes with a delay for restock, they are $2.50 each. (I will sell these individually as well if anyone is looking for them. They will be $3.50 each if bought separately. $1.19 shipping CONUS. And may have a wait associated. I have to buy them in lots of 10-25 to get this pricing. If you've looked for the Ti split rings this size before, you know that price is cheap...) I have 13 more in stock at the moment, so these ship immediately.

Here are the Ti split rings. Dark grey 'natural' color.

I still have some Brewtals also, I'll throw one in for $10 if you buy a Hooker. See that thread for details. When they're gone, they're gone and this option will be removed...

Contact me via PM or email at E.Lucy@gmx.com or EricLucyCustomKnives@gmail.com to order. State your material, finish preference, and quantity with a paypal email addy and I will send you an invoice. Will ship within 3 business days of order being place. Most items arrive via USPS in a couple of days. I take responsibility for the item getting to you. If it doesn't arrive by 10 business days contact me and I will make it right one way or another...

Please do not send me a visitor message on my profile to order. This is a different format than a PM and as I use tapatalk for BF a lot, it may be quite some time before I see these messages.

As long as this thread is up I'm taking orders.

Cheers, thanks for looking.

Here is the technique I use and have found works best with a Hooker. The keyring can also be held in the palm as a quasi-handle, but this is very efficient.

This is the magnesium version BTW. Some are skeptical about magnesium's strength because of the light weight. Trust me though that it is plenty stout.

Click the picture to see my technique for using these efficiently. Will pop the top in one pull....

Another (blurry) overall pic. They are a little fatter than 1/4" BTW. Aside from the one pictured thin Ti version which is about 1/8" thick.

I am out ahead of the curve so far with these, and have enough done in blank form that I can safely say all will ship within 3 business days of receiving a paid invoice. Basically all I have to do at the moment is finish them out on the belt and package them since I went ahead and cut a bunch of blanks.

So, email or PM me and I'll hook you up! e.lucy@gmx.com or EricLucyCustomKnives@gmail.com

Additional discounts if more than one is purchased at a time.

Thanks for looking!

Ok Eric you have me hooked, how about a ti split ring and a mag hooker. Shoot me an invoice and I will post funds Thanks Martin

Added technique video since I've had some questions about use. Very efficient IMO. And the magnesium version, despite the light weight, is plenty strong...

A tiny tiny version. The 'Skinny Hooker?' 'Crack Ho?' (I had a friend suggest 'Midget Hooker' but I don't want to offend anyone...)

(SOLD)I will sell the micro Hooker with a Ti split ring; the ultimate low profile and light weight combo. As a package, shipped, $25, Saves a few bucks off the package price for a big one and a ring.(SOLD)

As of right now, it's the only micro I've made. Don't know if I'll do another. Holding something that small on the belt grinder is a recipe for finger mangling.

Works every bit as good as its sister Hookers.... Little pry point on these is knocked down but still sharp enough to pop tape kn boxes or pop paint can lids off. Just remember to use the keyring as leverage...

Getting 10 more Ti split rings in soon as well. I know those things are like hens teeth to find at a reasonable price...

All items sent that were paid through Monday night.

Considering offering a waterjet cut option that may help decrease the price I have to place on these. Thought it may take away some of the 'charm' of these since each is currently hand made individually. I would still be finishing each one by hand, but if it speeds me up and cuts cost that gets passed on to you guys since I don't really claim a profit on these or the Brewtals... Curious if people would be interested in one versus the other...

Cheers.
