Ti Frame Lock: what would you do?

It's not actually. That has me a little confused. I think they did something to the lock bar or the tang. I expected an earlier lockup but it's just as late as before. Maybe slightly later.
 
Seeing as the pin freely rotates I dont think they peened it. My guess is they refinished the lock faces in some way.
 
Nice to once again hear that customer contacted manufacturer about a concern, and the manufacturer resolved the issue quickly and to satisfaction of the customer. Spyderco does a great job with their customer service, given fair opportunity to do so ;-)
 
They may have bent the bar. Have you looked to see if it is the same blade? They could have switched it out
