I have the m1 it's a nice blade for the cash. Also like the ZT551/550 I had. I still have the m1, and it's my go-to larger folder.

thanks for the input, it seems like the best value

Kershaw JYDII Ti/SG2. BM 760 , BM 790 , old CRKT S-2 , off the top of my head.

If you are looking for a good deal in an edc ti framelock, what about the AG Russell Folding Sting? This is basically a Camillus-made 3" Madd Maxx with a very versatile flat ground spear point blade - in 154CM, I think. Thick Ti scales and lock, but only $99. Only thing I dislike about it is that it is only drilled for tip down carry (would also prefer phsphor bronze washers over teflon, but that is no biggie).

Also, you might be able to get one cheap if you can find where the person who stole mine is selling it!!!

If you want an unbelievable deal on a small ti framelock edc, there is also the subcom titan for <$30. The one I have is very well made.

I would go with the ZT 0300 series. Great knives for the money and the texture on the handles helps with grip. I have the 0300 in black now after selling a Sage 2 b/c of the lack of traction.

BTW The Sage 2 is not discontinued (nor the Sage 1 for that matter) Even though Spyderco is on Sage 3 they still produce and sell the other knives in the line. You can find a new one for around $150-$160 and used ones pop up on the For Sale Section all the time.

Where did you see that? I'm not finding anything on this and it's in stock at like 15 different stores alone that came up on Google.

i havent seen then in stock for a while, i thought it was limited producton, i was wrong. ill dig around thanks

I see now that you're looking for something around $200, rather than less than $200. I don't have direct experience of models in that price range - my other ti framelocks are around $400 - but I'm sure the ZT knives are a solid choice. I just waved my ZT0200, which gave it a new lease of life, and I'm waiting on the 0561.

Spyderco Leafstorm!!!!! Or you can wait for that new spyderco techno, ti framelock ctsxhp

Neat little knife. Not in the same league as other Ti framelocks, but I like mine, and it's a great value.

I'd say +1 on the ZT 0551. Or the 0550 when it comes out. Very solid knife, good ergos, and excellent quality.

+1 on the ZT 0551/0550, or the Bradley Alias 1/2. Or save up for an Umnumzaan/Sebenza because they are quite the knives.
