I'm curious to see what options exist that have a ti framelock, 3-3.5" blade, and cost less than $150. The intended use is EDC with occasional camping or hiking use. I've been eyeing the ESEE HEST Folder that's coming out soon, but am interested to see what else compares.

Thank you.

Well the Sage II is a three inch S30V and Ti framelock and can be had around the number mentioned. But why not a ESEE fixed blade for camping.

Sage II from Spyderco (as mentioned above), Benchmade Sibert MPR (when found with a discount code or on the secondary market), Bradley Alias

I think if you check the Exchange you can find some without having to wait too long.

A.G. Russell has their Italian Ti framelock tactical for $100 as a regular stock item It's a very nice knife.

I have a Ti framelock for sale now but it's just a tiny bit above your limit. I think there will be others posted on a reasonably regular basis that are at or below your price point.

From where can you get an Alias with a frame lock for 150$?

I guess I should clarify that pricing would generally be on the secondary market........not new since they are around $206 for the larger one and $168 for the smaller version when new.

Aside from the BM 755 MPR(which I think would do nicely for camping), I think only used ti framelocks would be that cheap.

I think I saw a used ZT 0300 in the Exchange for less than $150(might not be there for long though).

Subcom Ti is a nice little titanium framelock from Boker Plus, however the blade is shorter than you request. You can buy at least 4 for 150 USD. :D

Hands down the Boker M type. Superbly made, Los Banos design, and just a great carrying well made frame lock, EXCEPT I think it is a s.s. framelock and not titanium. keepem sharp

So this Ti framelock is a serious upgrade when it comes to folders huh? Does this make them "almost" snap proof at the hinge?

Anyone know if the new Hogues are going to have this Ti framelock? That would seal the deal for me.

That thumb valley they created to access the thumb knob is great engineering.

I'd love a ZT 300 but I fear they're way bigger than I'm looking for in a knife. But I prefer the big fat blade of the 301's vs the new 551 blade that is as "fatboy"

That ESEE HEST folder is pretty badass too... But I love the fatboy blade of the ZT300 series.

I'm so confused and torn lol

Just got a ZT 302 (I think that number-coyote handle) and it is a great, superior made knife and pretty light given its size. I would go with that. Look hard and you can find them for $160 previously owned safe queens on forums or flea bay.
