Ti Framelock, 3-3.5", <$150

The leftover Kershaw 1725SG2 JYDII in Ti/SG2 blemished knives for $79 delivered from the Kershaw selling guy cannot last forever. They are the best bargain. Sure, I got my BM 755 for just less - and 790 for a bit more - than the $150 limit. I even beat that limit with a 'real' find, if a bit more fragile, a Buck 172 Mayo TNT. Choices exist.

Depending on who still has them, you could go with the new Kershaw Speedform. Just under $150 where I'm getting it, and maybe just over $150 at other places. But this is one you need to jump on NOW. Btw, it does have a 3.75" blade if that is a big sticking point for you. Hey, that is sorta a pun I made...big sticking point.:D

You can also still find the occasional Kershaw Bump with Titanium framelock, for right around that pricepoint. I've seen them on Ebay, and a few online knife stores.

Man the Benchmade Sibert MPR is pretty impressive too! I just wish the blade was a little longer...

Do they make a bigger model?

I'm really torn right now.

I do like the ESEE HEST folder a lot too... any idea on a price for it when it comes out?

I'd love to do a ZT, but too big for my hands I think. Still throwing around the idea of a Hogue, but they dont have a TI liner...

Any other options?

The BM 755 Sibert is one heck of a folder. I have been carrying it now for a couple months, using it quite a bit. Solid lock-up and really holds an edge. It competes with more expensive competition without a hitch.

The new ZT/Hinderer Colab is almost out as well. This one strikes my fancy, even though it is a little higher than my budget. That would be a sweet knife.

Aside from the BM 755 MPR(which I think would do nicely for camping), I think only used ti framelocks would be that cheap.

I think I saw a used ZT 0300 in the Exchange for less than $150(might not be there for long though).

I picked up a ZT 0300 and a ZT 0400ST used on eBay for $200 (total for both knives) not too long ago. They were blems, but alright. Have no idea why they were considered blems. The 0400 had been the fellow's EDC for a year.

Got a good deal on quality stuff.
