Hello dear friends,
With God's good will today i present you a MH 'Hunter camo' - a solid full size titanium frame lock with an impressive look and a perfect companion for a hunter.
Built around a titanium 'core' this folder is a gorgeous cutter.
An aluminium/vanadium alloy, Grade 5 TA6V titanium offers an excellent compromise between mechanical strength, toughness and ductility hence it was the choice for the frame of the folder.
The detent ball is high quality ceramic for an ever lasting smooth action without deformations.
All screws are precision machined black oxidized steel, the stop and pivot pins are hardened, precision ground 400c stainless steel so no wear in there even after prolonged years of use.
The blade slides on phosphorous bronze washers with 'grease pockets'.
The blade is made using the high carbon W2 tool steel at 63 hrc (beware it is not rustproof but you know me - i am the carbon steel guy
), with a high flat grind, a classy satin finish and a fake back edge to make it lighter and improve it's cutting capabilities. The blade comes razor sharp and is correctly centered.
MH 'Hunter camo' features on short:
- Grade 5 TA6V titanium - one off stonewash finish with a fully hand anodized custom 'hunter camo' finish.
- very light and very strong.
- W2 tool steel, 63 hrc, with a high flat grind, a classy satin finish and a fake back edge to make it lighter and improve it's cutting capabilities.
- phosphorous bronze washers with 'grease pockets'.
- screws are precision machined black oxidized steel, the stop and pivot pins are hardened, precision ground 400c stainless steel.
- pivot has 'coal black' finish aluminum countersunk washers (other colors can be purchased separately for you to customize it on your liking).
- custom back spacer - oversized brass 'barrel'.
- custom home made stainless steel thumb stud.
