Thought I would share how it is looking so far. This one has a titanium locking side, and a yellow G10 non locking side. (Why? Because I had it on hand!)

Here are the specs:

4 1/2" handle (each handle slab is 1/8" thick)
3 1/2" X 1/8" blade of O1
Pivot pin is 1/4" stainless surounded by a 1/4" I.D. X 3/8" O.D. ball bearing
.016 bronze washers
1/4" stainless stop pin

Looks great to my eyes.

that's an awesome blade shape! I really dig the design. Just curious, what do u think of a kephart folder?

I played around with this again today, so far everything is working out as I envisioned it would. In other words, these will be available to order. What nobody realizes is that I have been playing around with drawings, and lots of ideas (some good, some not), but it`s proving to be worth the time (and scrapped out materials!)

This one will be finished up this week. I broke my 6-32 tap yesterday, so I need to get more of those, so the thumbstud won`t be like the production ones, but I could not wait, I want to heat treat the blade tomorrow.

Looks great, John -

I can see that you have done some work on the contours of the handle. I like the blade shape.

I am anxious to see a finished product.

I am also very glad to be back to a keyboard instead of posting with my phone.
