Ti handled Police with ATS-55 blade?

Sal,
I have a Japanese knife magazine with an add from G.Sakai on the back that shows a Police model and the Police necklace. The Police model made me do a double take because it looks like the handles are titanium or possibly annodized aluminum, yet the blade is marked ATS-55. Are there recent batches of the Police out there with Ti or Al handles? Enquiring knife knuts want to know.

Paul - I have one. I'm sure G.Sakai has one. Don't know of any more in ATS-55. We are considering production and showing the piece as Shows. that is what G.Sakai does with the magazine. We'll know more after the SHOT Show.

Thanks for the quick reply Sal. The one in the ad is Beautiful (that's with a capital B). Fit and finish look perfect. The hole even looks slightly radiused which is a big plus. Count me in for one if you decide to go with it.

Nothing more that I would like than a Ti scaled Police, in perhaps CPM 440V, or ATS55 if only other option.
