Ti Hate Pig $135

I understand the original intent behind selling these was to raise money for kids with cystic fibrosis. That was for the original sale of this item. How does reselling this piece benefit those kids?
This item sold originally by the maker to benefit children, and it apparently accomplished that goal. Why would the owner of the item now years later need to be concerned with keeping or selling the item if they no longer have use for it? Are they expected to keep it just because the makers intent was to raise money for charity? For all we know, the seller may very well donate the proceedings to a charity of his choosing, or not, it really doesn't matter what he chooses to do with an item that he owns. Im tempeted to buy it for my teenage daughter who loves pigs, but because its a bottle opener, i dont want to give the wrong idea by buying her a bottle opener. 🤷🏻‍♂️🇺🇸🍻

I understand. I merely questioned the value of the item and investigated it. You are right. The owner of the item has the right to do with it what he will. If I broke any of the BF rules by posing this question, I do apologize. MODs please delete if you see fit.
Honestly I think your investigation and info you shared adds to its value. Things that stand for something have deeper meaning to some. I hope my response didn't come across as an attack, I was just stating my pov.

You should delete yourself. . .

5. Do not post in a person's thread unless you have an implicit interest in buying the item. Posts like, "Nice knife!", "Why is the price so high/low?", "I wish I had funds" are not allowed. This means absolutely no commentary or feedback in someone's sales thread. Seriously, if you stomp on someone's ad, your account can and will be locked. The only exception to this is in the Knife Makers Market areas (if the maker/craftsman requests and welcomes feedback). Save questions and offers for email rather than cluttering the thread.
