I'm looking for someone to make a blade for a regular sized ti lite knife that my grandfather bought me before he died. The old blade is well sharpened. I've been playing with the idea of damascus steel, or anything that holds a better edge than the steel on it now. High carbon or stainless doesn't matter to me. I'm well out of the loop on new knife making steels although the new crucible D2 sounds interesting to me.
Get back to me with what you think would be best, and the price you want. Quote me both a good damascus blend and mono type of steel you feel would take the best edge. I might just take one of each, and buy another ti lite to hold the other blade.
