Who knows if they are misrepresenting the price in order to grab customers before it's release but they do say $160. That imo would represent one heck of a deal (if true) considering the materials and size.

I'm not posting any deal finds, but I will say that Jeff of the Cutlery Shoppe is a standup guy, very nice, and an excellent business man. If the pre-order price is $160 then his price is $160.

Hopefully you didn't take offense to my post. Not knowing him or his shop and running across it via a google search I was just attempting to offer a possible solution to the price discrepancy.

I have no doubt Jeff is a stand-up guy...if he's known around here than he is more than an unbelievable google search return.

I agree with this comment. I bought (now sold) my BM 630 Skirmish from him back when the typical online discount price was $200-$215 for them. I paid $170, shipped. It was my first purchase from them. I was a bit reluctant. In fact, I fully expected them to come back to me and say it wasn't in stock. But low and behold, it showed up in 4 days in pristine condition . . .

While that Ti- millie pictured from the Cutlery Shoppe is RIL, there was some speculation that the $160 Ti Millie is a special Pre order only LINER LOCK model with Titanium scales. Not the soon to be released RIL Ti Millie.

Can anybody shed more light on this??

I pre-ordered one from Jeff, the best place to buy Spydercos. Hmmmm

You are entitled to your opinion.

There has been no word on a liner lock millie with Ti scales.

From the Cutlery Shoppe Product Page:

A cornerstone model in Spyderco's Save and Serve line up is the C36 Military Model -- meeting the requirements of a high-performance, light-weight folder designed for hard use. Since the steel is the spirit of the knife, CPM-S30V with almost 2% carbon seemed the logical choice for the blade, given its reputation for long-term edge retention and rust resistance. The "Millie" has a modified clip-point blade laser cut with a 14 mm Spyderco Round Hole for quick deployment and for use with gloves. Jimping above the hole hold the thumb in contact with the blade's spine during cutting for confident control over the sharpened edge. The handle scales are Titanium with the Reeve Integral Lock, pumping up lock strength without the addition of bulky liners. The handle flares slightly at the front end creating a finger choil and at the butt end, which keeps the knife from slipping forward or backward in the hand while sawing or making tough or aggressive cuts. A blackened stainless steel pocket clip is set for right-hand tip-down carry. Made in Golden, Colorado U.S.A.

Josh, you are a piece of work, you know. First you say the price on the Ti Millie is BS and you cast doubts on the reputation of a perfectly fine online store from which I bought tens of knives, and then you quote a description from the same site to prove a point about something else you say. You can decide where to buy from and whom to give your money to, but you can't just act like a D**K, accusing people running an honest business of being liars, and then pretend nothing happened.
