Hello all!
Here is a side project that was slowly worked on for a long time. It's a large dagger/short sword made of one of the forge-welded san mai titanium billets Dan Keffeler and I made a while back. Not the sort of thing I usually make, form-wise. The core of the billet is pretty thick, so as you can see there isn't so much of the "mai" left.
The blade is 16.5" long, and oal is about 22.5" All metals used are ti alloys. Very pointy and stabby. Could make for a good main gauche.
