Hey y'all,

So I'm new to the forums and I joined because I really don't have too many friends that are into knives like I am. Or hiking... Or camping... SO! When I have a question or an interest the only person that gets me is... Well me! Lol

So I've been collecting knives for just under a year (serious collecting) and I'm still pretty noobie. I actually just made a ZT purchase and I'm having second thoughts and I don't even have the knife yet! I purchased the 0566CF. Not the worst, not the best but it'll be my second ZT following my 0808. The main reason I'm posting this is because I really like the look of this knife and I'm honestly trying to find a new EDC, something to kick my para2 to the side for a while. Well... I totally didn't pay close enough attention when I clicked purchase... Because I noticed post buy it has stainless steel opposed to titanium for the handle. Now I feel I've been spoiled once I got my first titanium blade in my hand, so now I'm just wondering is it really that big of a difference? I mean.. My gut tells me yes, but idk. You guys with more experience share your thoughts. I paid 160.00 for the CF scale option and I'm just hoping I couldn't have purchase something better for he money lol. I had a budget of 200, and passed up the 0450 due to it being just a tad too small for my likings. Thanks for any feedback you guys have!

I've often wondered why some brands don't use steel for the lock side, and titanium for the non-locking liner. It seems like it would cure the complaints about lock stick with one of the more popular "hard use" brands, without compromising construction integrity or causing a large increase in weight. Of course, I'm just talking about liner locks, rather than frame locks.
